Stitches are placed on the hymen which will fall within 3 week of the procedure and 3 to 4 week will be needed for complete healing.
What are the precautions you have to take after Hymenoplasty surgery?
You only have to avoid doing any strenuous activity till complete healing takes place. You can do normal walking and climbing. You have to maintain good hygiene and you have to take showers daily.

The risk of Hymenoplasty surgery is very less and they can occur on temporary basis. You have to follow good hygiene to reduce the risk of infection. There will be minimum swelling a discomfort after the procedure which will go within few days for which you have to take painkillers.

- You have to keep your vagina clean and free from any dirt particles that may cause some damage to your stitches.
- You have to avoid doing sexual intercourse till the soreness of your vagina.
- You have to avoid doing any physical or sport activities such as cycling, jogging and horse riding till 3 weeks after surgery.
